Perfect for birthdays or when someone is coming over for a coffee. When in New Zealand you’ll find a million varieties on these slices in every cafe you go to. All in all reason enough to experiment with a new flavour!

Een quiche is de ideale maaltijd als je niet te lang in de keuken wilt staan, of graag iets vooraf wilt voorbereiden. Serveren met een lekkere salade en je hebt de ideale lichte zomerse maaltijd op tafel staan waar je gemakkelijk 4 personen mee blij kan maken. I am well aware of the fact that the site is a bit dead lately. Too busy living! I have been around Indonesia the last three weeks and one of the facts that really surprised me was the vibrant food culture I got to experience there. How to Beat Food Waste With Creativity at home

I think I don’t have to make people more aware of the fact that food waste is a huge problem in the world. Actually, I don’t understand how people can waste so much food. Working in restaurants and food producing companies, it has become clear to me how much food is being wasted, and for what reason? Probably because it will take more effort and time, and thus money, to get rid of it in another way than binning it. I can’t fix this problem by writing this post, but I think many people at home throw away stuff that they could perfectly use the next day. When I look at my own habits, I really don’t waste a lot, maybe a core of my apple, but left overs, NEVER!
