Felt like baking again for the first time in ages! I just don’t feel like doing it, so I’m not. But yesterday I was just craving something nice for a Saturday morning brekky. When I saw the bananas waiting there for me in the kitchen, I knew what to make.
Finally! I can bake again! After months of travelling without having a proper kitchen, I am glad to be able to cook again. I gained a lot of inspiration and wrote down all the ideas I had while travelling, which made me end up with a giant list. Today I started baking again, by making this very easy, no bake chocolate & pear tart with a Dutch twist! A perfect autumn recipe!
Online you find a scary amount of brownie recipies. All with a different set of ingredients or another way for making the batter. Today I share my favourite recipe with you! Baking brownies is a baking basic so it is great to have the perfect brownie recipe.
Nope, still not done with the “Kruidnoten”. Because of the fact that they are delicious in everything, I made Caramel & Kruidnoot Brownies! I used my home made cookies from the previous post, but you could as well use store bought kruidnoten (if you’re from Holland of course, otherwise you have to bake them youselves or use other cookies).
Yummmm carrot cake! I don’t know how it is un your country, but in Holland every time someone brings a carrot cake, the famous joke about the rabbit at the bakery comes along. I just hadn’t had carrot cake for such a long time, so I decided to make one for my collegues (and for me 🙂 ) because it was my last day of work before my big travls. And a nice thing about carrot cake is that it contains a lot of carrot, so you can always use that as an excuse to eat another piece (of course don’t mention the amount of sugar and the amout of butter and the frosting).
